Downtown San Rafael 2019

Falkirk Cultural Center
I stayed for few days in San Rafael, California last March. The weather was better than my Los Angeles' trip. I and my family also visited San Francisco, but we spent more days in San Rafael. Since my older brother had work already, we had to plan our tours by ourselves (I and my parents).

Art Works Downtown
Our first stop was 'Art Works Downtown.' There were various art works in this gallery and there were shops for creative stuffs. There's no entrance fee and you can go to basement for more artworks.

Garden at Falkirk Cultural Center
We visited Falkirk Cultural Center, and we were not sure if we could go inside since the door was closed. We stayed a bit and waited if others would go inside. Then, we followed them. There's no entrance fee and we saw majority of the rooms. It's huge and we found it an amazing old mansion.

Milk Teas at Quickly
There's a public library and we stopped for a while to check it out. We went to Quickly for milk teas and spent at least half an hour to rest.

Church of Saint Rafael is the closest to our apartment and it's a walking distance as well. Whenever we travel, we always visit a Catholic Church to pray. We attended a mass here on a Sunday morning before my flight back to Maryland.

Our last stop was the Museum of International Propaganda. We found this museum interesting since there were details about propaganda in Asia(including Philippines.) We also got the chance to put push pins in the world map. This museum accepts donations, too.

We tried to have an early dinner in a Japanese restaurant, but they were close at the time and would open after an hour. We didn't spend much since all of these places were walking distance and there were no entrance fees. It's a great and sunny day in San Rafael.
