First Time to Hong Kong: Day 1

Finally, my most awaited trip for this year had come. For this spring, Hong Kong is my out-of-country trip. This is my first time to travel here.

I and my sister boarded Cebu Pacific last April 14. My mother didn't want to join us because she and my father already went in Hong Kong. It's second time for my sister. She joined me because Hong Kong is really a nice place and friendly for foreigners. The reason is that you will not get lost in the city as long as you can read English.

We arrived in Hong Kong around 7:45 AM.

Each of us had one back pack bag and one body bag. Luckily, all of our things for four days fit inside. I love the airport. It is clean and there are lots of shops such as Star Bucks and McDonalds. There is a free wifi here.

I roamed my Globe phone, but unfortunately, it didn't work again. This was the second time that it happened. The first time was in South Korea. I should had brought my Sun phone with me. This is a lesson that I learned. My sister brought her Sun phone, and it worked perfectly. I tried roaming my TM phone the day before I left, but the message was always failed in sending.

We waited for our tour guide. They offered us some tour. They also gave us our coupons for daily breakfast set in Rambler Oasis Hotel.

We can only check-in our things at 3pm in the hotel. We arrived there early so we left our things at the concierge for few hours, so we can visit some places. We also had deposited 500HKD. Don't worry. It will be returned after you had check-out.

We rode a shuttle from the hotel to Tsing Yi MTR station. We had our lunch there at Tong Kee Bao Dim. It has a lot of delicious food in affordable price. Then, we went to Sky 100 Tower. We tried to pay for tickets, but the staff was hesitating because it was really foggy back then.

We decided to go to Avenue of Stars via MTR stations. It was really foggy that you can't see the buildings across the river/water. At the same time, it's hot that day.

We arrived at Rambler Oasis Hotel around 4:00 PM. We just slept there for the rest of the day because we didn't able to get good sleep last night.
